Fundraise for Us
You can make a difference
Single Parents Wellbeing is a peer led organisation. That means that everything we do comes from a need that our members tell us about. It’s a fantastic way of working together and making sure that all the things on offer are wanted and needed.
Our mission at Single Parents Wellbeing is to empower single parent families by providing a supportive community that enhances mental wellbeing, nurtures connections, and combats social isolation, enabling families to thrive together.
We are a community of single parents for single parents and have the most awesome team of volunteers at every level of SPW to make great things happen.
We would love for you to fundraise for us so that we can keep being awesome and support our community in a meaningful way.
“SPW really helped me a few years back. Grateful to all wonderful people who put so much work into creating events to help single and lone parents.”
From spare change to changing lives
Whether you are thinking of summiting Pen Y Fan or doing a wellbeing walk on a lunchbreak we want you to know that all funds raised for us go directly to our community.

We have a dedicated Local Giving page where you can set up your own linked page to make it really easy for you to share what you’re doing, and give people confidence that their donations are going to help in a tangible way.

There are some other reasons to create a fundraising page on local giving:
Super easy to set up - you’ll be ready to go in moments
Friends, family and colleagues can donate securely, wherever they are in the world
Your local giving page keeps track of donations, so you can see your total grow
You can tell your story and motivation to fundraise as well as share updates, and inspire others

Tips for making your fundraising page look as awesome as you are:
Make it personal and give a reason for your support of SPW
Use photos or videos, people love to see who they are supporting
Set a fundraising target, if you love ticking things off a to-do list, you’ll understand why people love to help you reach your goal
Post regular updates, whether it’s training progress, a personal message or a shout out to people who have donated
And this one doesn’t make your page look more awesome but it helps your total to look it!Share, share, share! You can get far more traction by using email, WhatsApp, and your social media channels to shout about what you’re doing
