Your Business Can Make a Significant Impact

Single parents make up one of the most under supported yet resilient communities in the UK.

At Single Parents Wellbeing, we help thousands of families every year to access community, increase their confidence and that of their children by providing a community to be a part of, opportunities to develop and practical tools to thrive.

When your business partners with us, you’re not just giving back, you’re building something better.

1 in 4 families are single parent households. Your employees will have family or close friends who are single parents or are part of a blended family, they may even be a single parent or being managing step parent roles themselves. Supporting Single Parents Wellbeing shows you value the contribution single parents make to the workforce.

Whether you’re aiming to improve employee wellbeing, deliver on your ESG goals, or simply want to make meaningful change, we offer authentic, impactful partnership opportunities.

A word from one of our Directors

There is absolutely no doubt that the term ‘single parent’ can be something that brings forth images riddled with stereotypes and stigma. A truly invisible and misunderstood and diverse group of families. Since being a part of the community, I have watched people join SPW scared and anxious about what it means for them to be a single parent. They join wondering who will be at meet ups and whether it will be anyone ‘like them’ and they keep coming back because of the community, the connection and the joy. I’m proud to say I am a single parent because of the parents I stand shoulder to shoulder with at groups, on projects and when we’re guiding policy change locally and nationally.

I encourage businesses to work with us to improve the lives of single parents and those in blended families within their businesses and within the community, through accessing our training, consultancy or becoming a sponsor.
