Sponsorship

Our mission at Single Parents Wellbeing is to empower single parent families by providing a supportive, peer-led community that enhances mental wellbeing, nurtures connections, and combats social isolation, enabling families to thrive together.

We do that by providing self development opportunities, through workshops and events and also through campaigning. As family life spans all ages and all activities there will be something we are doing that will resonate with you and your employees.

Whether you’d like to facilitate a whole project to happen, or to help us put on one in a series, or you have something that would be useful for us to use within one of the projects, we absolutely welcome your support. You can also donate without nominating a particular project or concept and that money goes into our community pot.

You can find our sponsorship PDF here.

Here are a few of the things that money is spent on:

£1200 will support one young person volunteer in a year long placement where they will receive training, participate in reverse mentoring, build their social, communication and participation skills. Giving them a great opportunity to have mentally healthy futures.

£135 pays for the venue hire and a play therapist for one session (held weekly) of our POLO group for babies and their parents.  This is a safe space for meaningful connection through play and to support brain development.

£35 pays for a family to attend a connecting craft session, using art and creativity as a way to encourage trauma-informed conversations and connection between parent and child/ren. This brings a sense of belonging and a lovely space to meet with others in a similar family dynamic.

£80 covers the cost of either a holistic session or a wellbeing workshop for a single parent struggling with mental health. This helps the whole family and encourages healthy choices, regulation strategies and prioritising their health.

£40 pays for an hour of a dedicated young person’s counsellor to be present at our young people focused meet ups. This helps young people feel comfortable talking about emotions in a relaxed setting and helps them build resilience for all areas of their lives.

£590 covers the cost of training a volunteer with our dynamic and bespoke training and volunteering offering. Proven to build confidence and improve their mental health. Our volunteer retention rates are exceptional and we are leading the field in engagement and co-production strategies.
