POLO
POLO is our Parents Of Little Ones group. It is currently running in Rhondda Cynon Taff for parents and their children aged 0-4yrs. It is facilitated by a play therapist and is a lovely space for parents and children to play together, as well as supporting parents with vital emotional support in those early years.
POLO costs us £6750 to run each year and is entirely funded through donations.
Here are some of the comments about the POLO sessions:
"The group provides a safe space for myself and my child to socialise & meet with other single parents, providing me reassurance & validation that I'm not alone in the struggle of single parenting. Not only do I feel recharged after a POLO session, I also feel like I'm a part of something great."

Not only does POLO give me a chance to change that, it's also refreshing to be around others in my situation. No more having to be subjected to conversations about partners that you come across in other groups, that can be triggering and upsetting."
